मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-112, verse-20

वैश्ययोनौ यदा जाता त्वं पुत्रं बोधयिष्यसि ।
राज्याय जातिस्मरतां तदा त्वं समवाप्स्यसि ॥२०॥
20. vaiśyayonau yadā jātā tvaṃ putraṃ bodhayiṣyasi .
rājyāya jātismaratāṃ tadā tvaṃ samavāpsyasi.
20. vaiśyayonau yadā jātā tvam putram bodhayiṣyasi
rājyāya jātismaratām tadā tvam samavāpsyasi
20. When you are born into the Vaiśya caste and enlighten your son for the sake of the kingdom, then you will regain the memory of your past lives (jātismaratām).
