मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-112, verse-18

ऋषिरुवाच ।
दुष्टतां दुष्टसंसर्गाददुष्टमपि गच्छति ।
सुराबिन्दुनिपातेन पञ्चगव्यघटो यथा ॥१८॥
18. ṛṣiruvāca .
duṣṭatāṃ duṣṭasaṃsargādaduṣṭamapi gacchati .
surābindunipātena pañcagavyaghaṭo yathā.
18. ṛṣiḥ uvāca duṣṭatām duṣṭasaṃsargāt aduṣṭam api
gacchati surābindunipātena pañcagavyaghaṭaḥ yathā
18. The sage said: "Even one who is not wicked attains wickedness through association with wicked people, just as a pot of pañcagavya (a sacred mixture of five cow products) becomes impure by the falling of a drop of liquor."
