तस्मात्कृपावती नाम्ना भविष्यत्याह स प्रभो ॥१४॥

"Because this daughter (ātmajā) was born to me who was overcome by compassion (kṛpā), therefore she will be known by the name Kṛpāvatī," he said, "O lord."
