मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-112, verse-16

ततो मुनेरगस्त्यस्य भ्रातागस्त्य इति श्रुतः ।
स चिन्वन्कानने वन्यं सखीभिः कोपितोऽशपत् ॥१६॥
16. tato muneragastyasya bhrātāgastya iti śrutaḥ .
sa cinvankānane vanyaṃ sakhībhiḥ kopito'śapat.
16. tataḥ muneḥ agastyasya bhrātā agastyaḥ iti śrutaḥ
saḥ cinvan kānane vanyam sakhībhiḥ kopitaḥ aśapat
16. Then, the brother of the sage Agastya, who was also known as Agastya, became angry with his female companions while collecting forest produce in the forest, and he cursed them.
