मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-112, verse-2

मदोन्मत्तो यतो भार्यां भवानत्र ममाश्रमे ।
बलाद्गृह्णाति भस्मत्वं तस्माद्व्रजतु मा चिरम् ॥२॥
2. madonmatto yato bhāryāṃ bhavānatra mamāśrame .
balādgṛhṇāti bhasmatvaṃ tasmādvrajatu mā ciram.
2. mada-unmattaḥ yataḥ bhāryām bhavān atra mama āśrame
| balāt gṛhṇāti bhasmatvam tasmāt vrajatu mā ciram
2. Because you, intoxicated by arrogance, forcibly seize my wife here in my hermitage (āśrama), therefore, may you turn to ashes immediately.
