मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-109, verse-25

इत्युक्तवन्तं तं बालमादाय स पिता ततः ।
जगाम स्वाश्रमं सोऽपि पृषध्रः शूद्रतामगात् ॥२५॥
25. ityuktavantaṃ taṃ bālamādāya sa pitā tataḥ .
jagāma svāśramaṃ so'pi pṛṣadhraḥ śūdratāmagāt.
25. iti uktavantam tam bālam ādāya saḥ pitā tataḥ |
jagāma sva-āśramam saḥ api pṛṣadhraḥ śūdratām agāt
25. After the boy had thus spoken, his father then took him and went to his own hermitage. And Pṛṣadhra, for his part, attained the status of a śūdra.
