मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-109, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
पृषध्राख्यो मनोः पुत्रो मृगयामगमद्वनम् ।
तत्र चंक्रममाणोऽसौ विपिने निर्जने वने ॥१॥

pṛṣadhrākhyo manoḥ putro mṛgayāmagamadvanam .
tatra caṃkramamāṇo'sau vipine nirjane vane.

1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Manu's son, named Pṛṣadhra, went to the forest for hunting. While he was roaming there in the desolate, uninhabited wilderness (vipina) of the forest,
