मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-109, verse-13

वत्सालमलमत्यर्थं कोपेनातीव वैरिणा ।
ऐहिकामुष्मिकहितः शम एव द्विजन्मनाम् ॥१३॥
13. vatsālamalamatyarthaṃ kopenātīva vairiṇā .
aihikāmuṣmikahitaḥ śama eva dvijanmanām.

aihikāmuṣmikahitaḥ śamaḥ eva dvijanmanām
13. O son, stop! Enough of this excessive anger, for it is indeed a great enemy. For the twice-born (dvijanman), only tranquility (śama) brings benefit both in this world and the next.
