मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-109, verse-15

न धर्मः क्रोधशीलस्य नार्थं चाप्नोति रोषणः ।
नालं सुखाय कामास्ति कोपेनाविष्टचेतसाम् ॥१५॥
15. na dharmaḥ krodhaśīlasya nārthaṃ cāpnoti roṣaṇaḥ .
nālaṃ sukhāya kāmāsti kopenāviṣṭacetasām.
15. na dharmaḥ krodhaśīlasya na artham ca āpnoti roṣaṇaḥ
na alam sukhāya kāmaḥ asti kopena āviṣṭacetasām
15. There is no virtue (dharma) for one who is prone to anger. An angry person does not attain wealth or purpose, and for those whose minds are possessed by anger, there is no sufficient happiness or gratification of desires.
