मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
पृषध्रोऽपि मुनेः पुत्रं प्रणम्यानम्रकन्धरः ।
प्रसीदेति जगादोच्चैरज्ञानाद्घातितेति च ॥२१॥

21. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
pṛṣadhro'pi muneḥ putraṃ praṇamyānamrakandharaḥ .
prasīdeti jagādoccairajñānādghātiteti ca.

21.
Mārkaṇḍeya said: Pṛṣadhra, with his neck bowed, also prostrated before the sage's son and cried loudly, 'Please be gracious! She was killed out of ignorance.'
