अज्ञानतः कृते दण्डं पातयन्ति बुधा यदि ।
बुधेभ्यस्तमहं मन्ये वरमज्ञानिनो नराः ॥१९॥

If the wise inflict punishment for actions performed out of ignorance, then I consider that ignorant individual to be better than those wise ones. Indeed, ignorant people (in such a case) are preferable.
