That elephant (dvipaḥ), adorned with golden armor (kāñcanavarmabhṛt), shone forth (samārucat) from Arjuna's arrows (pārthabāṇaiḥ), which were like golden ornaments (tapanīyabhūṣaṇaiḥ). It shone (cakāśe) like a mountain at night (niśi parvataḥ) whose medicinal plants and trees (auṣadhidrumaḥ) are ablaze (prajvalitaḥ) from a forest fire (davāgninā).
