महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-13, verse-12

ततोऽर्जुनं भिन्नकटेन दन्तिना घनाघनेनानिलतुल्यरंहसा ।
अतीव चुक्षोभयिषुर्जनार्दनं धनंजयं चाभिजघान तोमरैः ॥१२॥
12. tato'rjunaṁ bhinnakaṭena dantinā; ghanāghanenānilatulyaraṁhasā ,
atīva cukṣobhayiṣurjanārdanaṁ; dhanaṁjayaṁ cābhijaghāna tomaraiḥ.

Then, greatly desiring to agitate Janardana (Kṛṣṇa) and Dhananjaya (Arjuna), [the Lord of Girivraja] attacked Dhananjaya (Arjuna) with javelins (tomaraiḥ), [while Arjuna was engaged with] an elephant (dantinā) whose temple was broken (bhinnakaṭena), which resembled a dense cloud (ghanāghanena), and possessed the speed of wind (anilatulyaraṃhasā).
