महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-72, verse-20

नैतादृशं समुद्योगं दृष्टवन्तोऽथ मानुषाः ।
ऋषयो वा महाभागाः पुराणा भुवि संजय ॥२०॥
20. naitādṛśaṁ samudyogaṁ dṛṣṭavanto'tha mānuṣāḥ ,
ṛṣayo vā mahābhāgāḥ purāṇā bhuvi saṁjaya.
20. na etādṛśam samudyogam dṛṣṭavantaḥ atha mānuṣāḥ
ṛṣayaḥ vā mahābhāgāḥ purāṇāḥ bhuvi saṃjaya
20. saṃjaya na mānuṣāḥ vā purāṇāḥ mahābhāgāḥ ṛṣayaḥ
bhuvi etādṛśam samudyogam dṛṣṭavantaḥ atha
20. O Saṃjaya, neither ordinary humans nor the ancient, highly esteemed sages on this earth have ever witnessed such a colossal undertaking.
