महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-3, verse-4

नाभ्यसूयामि ते वाक्यं ब्रुवतो लाङ्गलध्वज ।
ये तु शृण्वन्ति ते वाक्यं तानसूयामि माधव ॥४॥
4. nābhyasūyāmi te vākyaṁ bruvato lāṅgaladhvaja ,
ye tu śṛṇvanti te vākyaṁ tānasūyāmi mādhava.
4. na abhyasūyāmi te vākyam bruvataḥ lāṅgaladhvaja
| ye tu śṛṇvanti te vākyam tān asūyāmi mādhava
4. O Balarāma (lāṅgaladhvaja), I do not resent you for speaking these words. However, O Kṛṣṇa (Mādhava), I resent those who listen to your words.
