सात्यकिरुवाच ।
यादृशः पुरुषस्यात्मा तादृशं संप्रभाषते ।
यथारूपोऽन्तरात्मा ते तथारूपं प्रभाषसे ॥१॥

yādṛśaḥ puruṣasyātmā tādṛśaṁ saṁprabhāṣate ,
yathārūpo'ntarātmā te tathārūpaṁ prabhāṣase.

yathārūpaḥ antarātmā te tathārūpam prabhāṣase

1. Sātyaki said: Just as a person's inner self (ātman) is, so does he speak. As your inner self (antarātman) is, so you speak.
