महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-172, verse-4

तामब्रवीच्छाल्वपतिः स्मयन्निव विशां पते ।
त्वयान्यपूर्वया नाहं भार्यार्थी वरवर्णिनि ॥४॥
4. tāmabravīcchālvapatiḥ smayanniva viśāṁ pate ,
tvayānyapūrvayā nāhaṁ bhāryārthī varavarṇini.
4. tām abravīt śālvapatiḥ smayan iva viśām pate |
tvayā anyapūrvayā na aham bhāryārthī varavarṇini

4. The lord of Śālva (śālvapati) said to her, as if smiling, 'O lord of the people (viśāmpate)! O lady of beautiful complexion (varavarṇini), I am not seeking a wife in you, who have previously been betrothed to another.'
