महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-172, verse-10

भजस्व मां शाल्वपते भक्तां बालामनागसम् ।
भक्तानां हि परित्यागो न धर्मेषु प्रशस्यते ॥१०॥
10. bhajasva māṁ śālvapate bhaktāṁ bālāmanāgasam ,
bhaktānāṁ hi parityāgo na dharmeṣu praśasyate.

bhaktānām hi parityāgaḥ na dharmeṣu praśasyate

10. O Lord of Salva, please accept me, your devoted and innocent young woman. Indeed, the abandonment of loyal individuals is not praised in the natural laws (dharma).
