महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-172, verse-21

एवं संभाषमाणां तु नृशंसः शाल्वराट्तदा ।
पर्यत्यजत कौरव्य करुणं परिदेवतीम् ॥२१॥
21. evaṁ saṁbhāṣamāṇāṁ tu nṛśaṁsaḥ śālvarāṭtadā ,
paryatyajata kauravya karuṇaṁ paridevatīm.

21. kauravya,
tu tadā nṛśaṃsaḥ śālvarāṭ evam saṃbhāṣamāṇām karuṇam paridevatīm paryatyajata.
21. But O descendant of Kuru (kauravya), the cruel king of Śālva then abandoned her who was thus speaking and lamenting piteously.
