महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-172, verse-11

साहमामन्त्र्य गाङ्गेयं समरेष्वनिवर्तिनम् ।
अनुज्ञाता च तेनैव तवैव गृहमागता ॥११॥
11. sāhamāmantrya gāṅgeyaṁ samareṣvanivartinam ,
anujñātā ca tenaiva tavaiva gṛhamāgatā.

anujñātā ca tena eva tava eva gṛham āgatā

11. Therefore, I approached Gaṅgeya (Bhishma), who never retreats in battles, and having been permitted by him, I have now come to your house.
