महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-95, verse-10

ततश्चीराणि जग्राह वल्कलान्यजिनानि च ।
समानव्रतचर्या च बभूवायतलोचना ॥१०॥
10. tataścīrāṇi jagrāha valkalānyajināni ca ,
samānavratacaryā ca babhūvāyatalocanā.
10. tataḥ cīrāṇi jagrāha valkalāni ajināni ca
samānavratacaryā ca babhūva āyatalocanā
10. Then she accepted ascetic strips, bark garments, and deer skins. And the long-eyed one (āyatalocanā) became one who observed the same ascetic vows (vrata-caryā) [as her husband].
