महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-94, verse-16

ततः प्रसवसंतानं चिन्तयन्भगवानृषिः ।
आत्मनः प्रसवस्यार्थे नापश्यत्सदृशीं स्त्रियम् ॥१६॥
16. tataḥ prasavasaṁtānaṁ cintayanbhagavānṛṣiḥ ,
ātmanaḥ prasavasyārthe nāpaśyatsadṛśīṁ striyam.
16. tataḥ prasava-saṃtānam cintayan bhagavān ṛṣiḥ
ātmanaḥ prasavasya arthe na apaśyat sadṛśīm striyam
16. Then, the revered sage, contemplating the continuation of his lineage, could not find a suitable woman for the sake of his own offspring (ātman).
