महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-90, verse-3

स भवान्यत्परं वेद पावनं पुरुषान्प्रति ।
तेन संयोजयेथास्त्वं तीर्थपुण्येन पाण्डवम् ॥३॥
3. sa bhavānyatparaṁ veda pāvanaṁ puruṣānprati ,
tena saṁyojayethāstvaṁ tīrthapuṇyena pāṇḍavam.
3. sa bhavān yat param veda pāvanam puruṣān prati
tena saṃyojayethāḥ tvam tīrthapuṇyena pāṇḍavam
3. Revered sir, you should connect this Pāṇḍava with that supreme purifying merit (puṇya) from sacred places (tīrtha) that you know to be beneficial for human beings.
