महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-41, verse-7

अर्जुन उवाच ।
भगवन्ददासि चेन्मह्यं कामं प्रीत्या वृषध्वज ।
कामये दिव्यमस्त्रं तद्घोरं पाशुपतं प्रभो ॥७॥
7. arjuna uvāca ,
bhagavandadāsi cenmahyaṁ kāmaṁ prītyā vṛṣadhvaja ,
kāmaye divyamastraṁ tadghoraṁ pāśupataṁ prabho.
7. arjuna uvāca bhagavan dadāsi cet mahyam kāmam prītyā
vṛṣadhvaja kāmaye divyam astram tat ghoram pāśupatam prabho
7. Arjuna said: "O Lord, O Vṛṣadhvaja (vṛṣadhvaja), if you grant me a wish with affection, I desire that terrible divine weapon, the Pāśupata (pāśupata), O Lord."
