महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-289, verse-6

व्यस्ते काले पुनश्चैति न चैति बहुशो द्विजः ।
दुर्लभ्यमपि चैवान्नं दीयतामिति सोऽब्रवीत् ॥६॥
6. vyaste kāle punaścaiti na caiti bahuśo dvijaḥ ,
durlabhyamapi caivānnaṁ dīyatāmiti so'bravīt.

durlabhyam api ca eva annam dīyatām iti saḥ abravīt
6. The brahmin (dvija) said: 'At a particular time, I may return, but not frequently. Therefore, let even food that is difficult to obtain be given.'
