महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-289, verse-5

निर्भर्त्सनापवादैश्च तथैवाप्रियया गिरा ।
ब्राह्मणस्य पृथा राजन्न चकाराप्रियं तदा ॥५॥
5. nirbhartsanāpavādaiśca tathaivāpriyayā girā ,
brāhmaṇasya pṛthā rājanna cakārāpriyaṁ tadā.
5. nirbhartsanā apavādaiḥ ca tathā eva apriyayā girā
brāhmaṇasya pṛthā rājan na cakāra apriyaṃ tadā
5. O king, Pṛthā never caused any displeasure (apriyam) to the Brahmin, neither through scolding or blaming, nor with any unkind words.
