महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-289, verse-16

ब्राह्मण उवाच ।
यदि नेच्छसि भद्रे त्वं वरं मत्तः शुचिस्मिते ।
इमं मन्त्रं गृहाण त्वमाह्वानाय दिवौकसाम् ॥१६॥
16. brāhmaṇa uvāca ,
yadi necchasi bhadre tvaṁ varaṁ mattaḥ śucismite ,
imaṁ mantraṁ gṛhāṇa tvamāhvānāya divaukasām.
16. brāhmaṇaḥ uvāca yadi na icchasi bhadre tvam varam mattaḥ
śucismite imam mantram gṛhāṇa tvam āhvānāya divaukasām
16. The Brahmin said: O virtuous and pure-smiling lady, if you do not desire a boon from me, then accept this mantra (sacred formula) for invoking the celestials.
