महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-272, verse-19

ततो हताश्वात्प्रस्कन्द्य रथात्स हतसारथिः ।
तत्रैवान्तर्दधे राजन्मायया रावणात्मजः ॥१९॥
19. tato hatāśvātpraskandya rathātsa hatasārathiḥ ,
tatraivāntardadhe rājanmāyayā rāvaṇātmajaḥ.

tatra eva antardadhe rājan māyayā rāvaṇātmajaḥ
19. Then, O King, Rāvaṇa's son (Indrajit), whose charioteer was slain, leapt from his chariot—whose horses were also slain—and vanished right there by means of illusion (māyā).
