महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-272, verse-16

तमभ्याशगतं वीरमङ्गदं रावणात्मजः ।
गदयाताडयत्सव्ये पार्श्वे वानरपुंगवम् ॥१६॥
16. tamabhyāśagataṁ vīramaṅgadaṁ rāvaṇātmajaḥ ,
gadayātāḍayatsavye pārśve vānarapuṁgavam.

gadayā atāḍayat savye pārśve vānarapuṅgavam
16. Rāvaṇa's son (ātmaja) (Indrajit) struck that brave Aṅgada, the best of the vānaras, who had come close, with a mace on his left side.
