तत एनं महावेगैरर्दयामास तोमरैः ।
तानागतान्स चिच्छेद सौमित्रिर्निशितैः शरैः ।

13. Then, Indrajit tormented him (Lakṣmaṇa) with lances that flew with great speed. The son of Sumitrā (Lakṣmaṇa), however, cut down those incoming lances with his sharp arrows. Thus severed by the keen arrows, they fell to the ground.
