महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-25, verse-20

मनोरमां भोगवतीमुपेत्य धृतात्मनां चीरजटाधराणाम् ।
तस्मिन्वने धर्मभृतां निवासे ददर्श सिद्धर्षिगणाननेकान् ॥२०॥
20. manoramāṁ bhogavatīmupetya; dhṛtātmanāṁ cīrajaṭādharāṇām ,
tasminvane dharmabhṛtāṁ nivāse; dadarśa siddharṣigaṇānanekān.

20. Approaching the enchanting Bhogavatī, he saw many groups of perfected sages (siddha-ṛṣi-gaṇa) dwelling in that forest, which was the abode of those who upheld natural law (dharma), who had disciplined their inner self (ātman), and who wore bark garments and matted locks.
