Approaching the enchanting Bhogavatī, he saw many groups of perfected sages (siddha-ṛṣi-gaṇa) dwelling in that forest, which was the abode of those who upheld natural law (dharma), who had disciplined their inner self (ātman), and who wore bark garments and matted locks.
