सत्कृतस्य हि ते शोको विपरीते कथं भवेत् ।
मा कृतं शोभनं पार्थैः शोकमालम्ब्य नाशय ॥५॥

5. satkṛtasya hi te śoko viparīte kathaṁ bhavet ,
mā kṛtaṁ śobhanaṁ pārthaiḥ śokamālambya nāśaya.

Indeed, how can there be sorrow (śoka) for you regarding those who are honored, when the situation is actually the opposite of what would cause grief? Do not destroy the good deeds performed by the Pārthas by clinging to sorrow (śoka).
