महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-239, verse-13

निश्चितेयं मम मतिः स्थिता प्रायोपवेशने ।
गच्छध्वं नगरं सर्वे पूज्याश्च गुरवो मम ॥१३॥
13. niściteyaṁ mama matiḥ sthitā prāyopaveśane ,
gacchadhvaṁ nagaraṁ sarve pūjyāśca guravo mama.
13. niścitā iyam mama matiḥ sthitā prāyopaveśane
gacchadhvam nagaram sarve pūjyāḥ ca guravaḥ mama
13. This resolve of mine is firmly fixed upon a fast unto death (prāyopaveśana). All of you, my venerable elders (guru), go to the city.
