ईदृशो न हि राजेन्द्र धर्मः क्वचन दृश्यते ।
प्रजानां पालने यो वै पुरा राजर्षिभिः कृतः ।
रक्षितव्याः प्रजा राज्ञा तास्त्वं रक्षितुमर्हसि ॥१३॥

13. īdṛśo na hi rājendra dharmaḥ kvacana dṛśyate ,
prajānāṁ pālane yo vai purā rājarṣibhiḥ kṛtaḥ ,
rakṣitavyāḥ prajā rājñā tāstvaṁ rakṣitumarhasi.

13.
Indeed, O great king, such a principle of natural law (dharma) for protecting the subjects, as was formerly observed by royal sages, is not seen anywhere else. The subjects must be protected by the king; you ought to protect them.
