महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-192, verse-20

एवं स्तुतो हृषीकेश उत्तङ्केन महात्मना ।
उत्तङ्कमब्रवीद्विष्णुः प्रीतस्तेऽहं वरं वृणु ॥२०॥
20. evaṁ stuto hṛṣīkeśa uttaṅkena mahātmanā ,
uttaṅkamabravīdviṣṇuḥ prītaste'haṁ varaṁ vṛṇu.
20. evam stutaḥ hṛṣīkeśaḥ uttaṅkena mahātmanā
uttaṅkam abravīt viṣṇuḥ prītaḥ te aham varam vṛṇu
20. Thus praised by the great-souled Uttanka, Hrishikesha (Viṣṇu) said to Uttanka, "I am pleased with you; choose a boon."
