अपूर्णमश्रोत्रियमाह तार्क्ष्य न वै तादृग्जुहुयादग्निहोत्रम् ॥१४॥

"One should not engage a non-Vedic scholar (aśrotriya) for divine offerings, for such a person merely pours uselessly. Tarkṣya declares that a non-Vedic scholar (aśrotriya) is incomplete (apūrṇa); indeed, such a person should not offer the agnihotra."
