महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-174, verse-19

द्वीपोऽभवद्यत्र वृकोदरस्य युधिष्ठिरो धर्मभृतां वरिष्ठः ।
अमोक्षयद्यस्तमनन्ततेजा ग्राहेण संवेष्टितसर्वगात्रम् ॥१९॥
19. dvīpo'bhavadyatra vṛkodarasya; yudhiṣṭhiro dharmabhṛtāṁ variṣṭhaḥ ,
amokṣayadyastamanantatejā; grāheṇa saṁveṣṭitasarvagātram.

amokṣayat yaḥ tam ananta-tejāḥ

19. Where Vṛkodara was, a crocodile (dvīpaḥ) seized him. Yudhiṣṭhira, who was the foremost among those who uphold natural law (dharma) and possessed infinite energy (anantatejāḥ), released him, whose entire body was encircled by the crocodile.
