महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-150, verse-8

यदि तावन्मया क्षुद्रा गत्वा वारणसाह्वयम् ।
धार्तराष्ट्रा निहन्तव्या यावदेतत्करोम्यहम् ॥८॥
8. yadi tāvanmayā kṣudrā gatvā vāraṇasāhvayam ,
dhārtarāṣṭrā nihantavyā yāvadetatkaromyaham.

8. If indeed, after I committed a vile act (kṣudrā) by going to Vāraṇāhvaya, the sons of Dhritarashtra (Dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ) must be killed, then I will continue to perform this (warfare) as long as I live.
