महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-118, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
गच्छन्स तीर्थानि महानुभावः पुण्यानि रम्याणि ददर्श राजा ।
सर्वाणि विप्रैरुपशोभितानि क्वचित्क्वचिद्भारत सागरस्य ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
gacchansa tīrthāni mahānubhāvaḥ; puṇyāni ramyāṇi dadarśa rājā ,
sarvāṇi viprairupaśobhitāni; kvacitkvacidbhārata sāgarasya.

1. Vaiśampayana said: O Bhārata, the great-souled king, as he traveled, saw many sacred and beautiful pilgrimage sites, all of them adorned by Brahmins, located here and there along the ocean.
