महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-107, verse-24

एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचो राजन्महाराजो भगीरथः ।
कैलासं पर्वतं गत्वा तोषयामास शंकरम् ॥२४॥
24. etacchrutvā vaco rājanmahārājo bhagīrathaḥ ,
kailāsaṁ parvataṁ gatvā toṣayāmāsa śaṁkaram.

kailāsam parvatam gatvā toṣayāmāsa śaṃkaram
24. O king, having heard these words, the great king Bhagīratha went to Mount Kailāsa and propitiated Śaṃkara.
