तेषामेवं विनष्टानां स्वर्गे वासो न विद्यते ।
यावत्तानि शरीराणि त्वं जलैर्नाभिषिञ्चसि ॥१८॥

18. teṣāmevaṁ vinaṣṭānāṁ svarge vāso na vidyate ,
yāvattāni śarīrāṇi tvaṁ jalairnābhiṣiñcasi.

18. teṣām evam vinaṣṭānām svarge vāsaḥ na vidyate
yāvat tāni śarīrāṇi tvam jalaiḥ na abhiṣiñcasi

18. For those who were thus annihilated, an abode in heaven (svarga) does not exist as long as you do not consecrate their bodies with water.
