महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-102, verse-6

ततो देवाः सहिताः सर्व एव सेन्द्राः समागम्य महाद्रिराजम् ।
निवारयामासुरुपायतस्तं न च स्म तेषां वचनं चकार ॥६॥
6. tato devāḥ sahitāḥ sarva eva; sendrāḥ samāgamya mahādrirājam ,
nivārayāmāsurupāyatastaṁ; na ca sma teṣāṁ vacanaṁ cakāra.

sa-indrāḥ samāgamya mahā-adri-rājam
nivārayām āsuḥ upāyataḥ tam
na ca sma teṣām vacanam cakāra
6. Then all the gods, united with Indra, approached the great king of mountains. They tried to stop him with a strategy, but he did not obey their words.
