महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-17, verse-3

धृतराष्ट्रो महाराज वनवासाय दीक्षितः ।
गमिष्यति वनं राजन्कार्त्तिकीमागतामिमाम् ॥३॥
3. dhṛtarāṣṭro mahārāja vanavāsāya dīkṣitaḥ ,
gamiṣyati vanaṁ rājankārttikīmāgatāmimām.

3. mahārāja rājan,

3. King Dhṛtarāṣṭra, O great king, has committed himself to forest-dwelling (vanavāsa). He will go to the forest this coming month of Kārttika.
