महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-17, verse-17

अन्येषां चैव सुहृदां कुन्ती कर्णाय दास्यति ।
श्राद्धानि पुरुषव्याघ्र मादात्कौरवको नृपः ॥१७॥
17. anyeṣāṁ caiva suhṛdāṁ kuntī karṇāya dāsyati ,
śrāddhāni puruṣavyāghra mādātkauravako nṛpaḥ.

śrāddhāni puruṣavyāghra mā adāt kauravakaḥ nṛpaḥ

17. And Kunti will indeed offer `śrāddha` rites for other friends, and for Karna. O tiger among men (puruṣavyāghra), the Kuru king did not offer `śrāddha`.
