महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-17, verse-15

भीमसेनस्तु सक्रोधः प्रोवाचेदं वचस्तदा ।
वयं भीष्मस्य कुर्मेह प्रेतकार्याणि फल्गुन ॥१५॥
15. bhīmasenastu sakrodhaḥ provācedaṁ vacastadā ,
vayaṁ bhīṣmasya kurmeha pretakāryāṇi phalguna.
15. bhīmasenaḥ tu sa-krodhaḥ provāca idam vacaḥ tadā
vayam bhīṣmasya kurmaḥ iha pretakāryāṇi phālguna
15. tu sa-krodhaḥ bhīmasenaḥ tadā idam vacaḥ provāca phālguna,
vayam iha bhīṣmasya pretakāryāṇi kurmaḥ
15. But Bhimasena, filled with anger, then spoke these words: 'Here and now, O Arjuna, we should perform the rites for the deceased (pretakāryāṇi) of Bhishma.'
