शतक्रतुस्तु तद्वाक्यमृषिभिस्तत्त्वदर्शिभिः ।
उक्तं न प्रतिजग्राह मानमोहवशानुगः ॥१७॥

17. But Indra (Śatakratu) did not accept that statement spoken by the truth-seeing sages, as he was under the sway of pride and delusion.
