महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-94, verse-11

आलम्भसमये तस्मिन्गृहीतेषु पशुष्वथ ।
महर्षयो महाराज संबभूवुः कृपान्विताः ॥११॥
11. ālambhasamaye tasmingṛhīteṣu paśuṣvatha ,
maharṣayo mahārāja saṁbabhūvuḥ kṛpānvitāḥ.
11. ālambhasamaye tasmin gṛhīteṣu paśuṣu atha
maharṣayaḥ mahārāja saṃbabhūvuḥ kṛpānvitāḥ
11. O great king, then, at that time of immolation, when the animals had been seized, the great sages became filled with compassion.
