महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-70, verse-23

त्वं चाद्य कुरुवीराणां धर्मेणाभिविराजसे ।
गुणभूताः स्म ते राजंस्त्वं नो राजन्मतो गुरुः ॥२३॥
23. tvaṁ cādya kuruvīrāṇāṁ dharmeṇābhivirājase ,
guṇabhūtāḥ sma te rājaṁstvaṁ no rājanmato guruḥ.
23. tvam ca adya kuruvīrāṇām dharmeṇa abhivirājase
guṇabhūtāḥ sma te rājan tvam naḥ rājan mataḥ guruḥ
23. tvam ca adya kuruvīrāṇām dharmeṇa abhivirājase.

23. And today, among the Kuru heroes, you shine forth through your intrinsic nature (dharma). We are your subordinates, O King; you are regarded as our teacher (guru), O King.
