न त्वस्य रमते बुद्धिराश्रमेषु नराधिप ।

27. But his intellect (buddhi), O king, found no delight in the three stages of life (āśrama) rooted in the householder (gārhasthya) tradition, for he was one who perceived the natural law (dharma) of liberation (mokṣa).
