महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-227, verse-18

उपपन्नं हि यत्प्राज्ञो निस्तरेन्नेतरो जनः ।
दूरतो गुणदोषौ हि प्राज्ञः सर्वत्र पश्यति ॥१८॥
18. upapannaṁ hi yatprājño nistarennetaro janaḥ ,
dūrato guṇadoṣau hi prājñaḥ sarvatra paśyati.

18. Indeed, the wise person (prājña) is capable of overcoming what is fitting to be overcome, but not an ordinary person. For, the wise person (prājña) discerns both merits and demerits everywhere, even from a distance.
